Before you start
Plans are priced per person, so each login can be signed in on one phone (the app) and one web browser at a time. A phone and a browser together is fine.
Already signed in on two phones (or two browsers) when this started? Nothing asks you. The one you open most recently stays signed in, and the other is signed out the next time it's used, and says why.
Signing in on another phone or browser
- Sign in as usual, with your password or code, and your two-factor code if you use one.
- If you're signed in on another phone, it says: You're signed in on another phone, and when it was last used. On the web it says another browser.
- Choose Sign in here to carry on. The other phone or browser is signed out straight away. Choose Cancel to stay signed in there and sign out here.
The phone or browser that was signed out says why the next time it's opened: You were signed out because you signed in on another phone (or browser).
Work that hasn't been sent
Signing in on another phone never deletes work. Anything the old phone hasn't sent yet stays on it, and sends the next time you sign in on that phone. The sign-in screen on that phone says how many changes are waiting. Sign back in there as yourself, to the same business, so they send: if someone else signs in on that phone, they're removed.
Sign out of all devices
In the app, open You (You and help in owner mode), then Sign out of all devices. On the web, it's in Settings, Security. It asks first, then signs you out everywhere, including where you are. Use it if you lose a phone or signed in on a computer that isn't yours.
If something goes wrong
- “That didn't work”: check your signal or connection, then choose Sign in here again.
- Signed out and you didn't sign in anywhere else? Someone else may know your password. Change it, then choose Sign out of all devices. See Keeping your account safe.
Who can do this
Everyone in the business with a login, on every plan, for their own account. Customers signing in to your portal aren't affected.
