Not a window cleaner? Where this guide says round, you'll see route. It works the same way. You can change the word in Settings, then Scheduling.
Before you start
Owners and managers get owner mode in the phone app, as well as their own visits. Cleaners only see their own visits. Most of owner mode needs signal.
- Open the app. Home shows money in today, the visits done and still to go, and This week, with each day's visits. The day's work and quick actions, such as Take a payment, Move a visit, Add a customer and Write a quote, are on the Board tab.
- To work your own visits, choose Open my visits on the My visits card, or My round in More.
- To come back to the business, choose Back to the business on your Today, or in Me.
What happens next
The app remembers which one you used last on this phone, and opens there next time.
The tabs
- Home: money in today, visits done and still to go, This week, then To do, Skipped, Owed, My visits, Get set up and Team today.
- Board: what needs you today, each cleaner and how far through their day they are, and quick actions: Take a payment, Move a visit, The week, Team today, Add a customer and Write a quote.
- Customers: look up, call, text or add a customer, with Messages at the top.
- Money: taken today and this month, what's owed, Direct Debits, invoices and payments.
- More: Needs you, Customers, Messages, Sales, My round, You and help, and Open on the web.
You and help has your details, Notifications, the app lock, Help and Sync status.
Arrange Home
At the bottom of Home, choose Arrange Home. Move cards up or down, or switch them off. Reset to default puts them back, and Done closes it. Only you see this. The header and This week always stay at the top.
Your team today
On Home, Team today, then Open (or Team today on the Board), shows each person with visits today, how far they've got, and when their phone last updated. Tap someone to open their day. Choose About and their name to call or text them, or see their details. Off sick today records sickness for today, then Decide suggests who covers their visits.
Open on the web
Desk work lives in the web admin. In More, Open on the web lists jobs such as Best order, Rounds, Stock and vans, Reports (with the cash forecast), Bulk changes, Team and on call, and Business settings. Each opens in your browser. Old links to these screens, such as the cash forecast, low stock or services, open the same page.
If something goes wrong
- “You don’t have access to this.”: a manager only sees the parts the owner ticked for them. Ask the owner.
- “… didn't load”: check your connection, then choose Try again.
- “No web address on this build”: sign in to the web admin on a computer instead.
Who can do this
Owners, and managers. A manager sees the tabs and More rows for the areas the owner ticked for them. Taken today and owed to you need money reports.
