Not a window cleaner? Where this guide says round, you'll see route. It works the same way. You can change the word in Settings, then Scheduling.
Before you start
Fill in any forms the visit needs. Photos are optional.
- On the visit, tap Complete visit. Finish visit opens.
- Check the service and price. Add a Visit note (optional) for the office and the next visit.
- Any Required form is listed. Tap it to fill it in.
- Tap Photos to add or check before and after photos.
- If some of the work couldn't be done, turn on Only part done and choose Why?: Gate locked, Building work, Customer asked, Rain or Something else.
- Tap Finish visit, or Finish as part done.
If a spot has a before photo but no after, Before you finish asks first. Take them now opens the camera, and the visit finishes once the photos are in. Finish anyway finishes without them.
What happens next
Visit summary opens, with Visit complete. Tap Undo within a few seconds if you finished by mistake. Then tap Open next visit, or Navigate to next stop.
If you take payments, How are they paying? shows on the summary. See Take a payment on a visit.
After your last visit, tap Finish and clock out. If you didn't clock in, it's Finish your round.
Part done: the owner and managers with Money set Price for this visit there and then. It's for this visit only; the plan's price stays the same. Otherwise the app says The office will set the price, and the visit isn't invoiced until they do.
If your business uses proof of visit, the app checks once, as you finish, that you're at the property. Where you are isn't kept.
If something goes wrong
- “Fill in the forms first.”: open each form listed and save it.
- “Say why it was only part done.”: choose a reason. With Something else, say What happened.
- “Enter this visit's price.”: type the price for this visit.
- “It's already sent”: Undo came too late. Ask the office to reopen the visit.
- “This visit is already closed” (“It's already finished, or it isn't for today.”): it's been finished, or it's on another day.
Who can do this
Cleaners on their own visits, and owners and managers working their own visits. Only the owner and managers with Money set a part-done price.
