Can my cleaner upload a document to a job?

Yes. Anyone working a visit can upload paperwork to it from the app: a site's sign-in sheet, warehouse paperwork, a permit, a waste note, a signed sign-off or a receipt. Take a photo of a paper form, or choose a PDF or photo. The owner and managers see it on the visit in the app too.

Before you start

Documents for the next seven days are kept on your phone, up to 50 MB in all, so they open without signal.

  1. On the visit, under Documents, tap one to open it.
  2. To add one, tap Add document. Choose Take a photo, Choose a photo or Choose a file. A PDF or a photo, up to 10 MB.
  3. Give it a Name and choose its Kind: Certificate, Permit, Waste or consignment note, Signed sign-off, Safety data sheet, Receipt or Other.
  4. Tap Save document.

What happens next

It saves on the phone first, then uploads. Until then it says Waiting to upload. With signal, owners and managers can rename it, share it with the customer, or remove it.

If something goes wrong

  • “Give the document a name.”: type a name before saving.
  • “This document isn't on your phone. Connect to open it.”: open it when you have signal.
  • “Not accepted. Ask the office.”: the office's copy turned it down.
  • “The document couldn't be opened. Please try again.”: try again.

Who can do this

Anyone working the visit adds documents. Owners and managers rename, share and remove them.
