What you'll need
- Their name and email address
- Signal
- On Home, open Team today (or choose Team today on the Board) and choose Invite to the team at the top. If it's just you so far, choose Invite your team.
- Enter their Name and Email.
- Under Role, choose Cleaner, Manager or Owner.
- Choose Send invitation.
What happens next
The screen says “Invitation sent to” them. They get an email to set a password, then sign in to the app. They show on your team once they've accepted it. To choose what a new manager can use, open their page in Team on the web.
If something goes wrong
- “Enter their name.” or “Enter their email address, like sam@example.com.”: check what you typed.
- “Only owners can invite people.”: ask the owner to send it.
- “That person is already in your team or invited.”: check your team for them.
- “This is more than the account's plan includes.”: remove someone, or change this on the web admin.
- “Too many invitations. Try again later.”: wait a while, then try again.
Who can do this
Only the owner invites people. Managers can open the screen, but their invitation isn't sent.
