Not a window cleaner? Where this guide says round, you'll see route. It works the same way. You can change the word in Settings, then Scheduling.
Before you start
Home is the first item in the menu. What it shows depends on what you can use: money figures need money reports, and Today's visits needs the schedule.
- On Home, choose Customise.
- Drag a card by its handle, or use the up and down arrows next to it. On a phone, use the arrows and the switch next to each card.
- To hide a card, choose the eye next to it. Hidden cards wait under Add a card: choose Add to bring one back.
- Choose Done. Reset to default puts the usual cards back.
What happens next
Only you see this arrangement. The cards are:
- Today at a glance: Visits today, Owed to you and Taken today, and Failed Direct Debits when one needs sorting out. Each figure opens its page.
- To do: the top three decisions, with Do it, Change and Dismiss, then new leads, customer requests, approvals and van top-ups. See all opens To do.
- Today's visits: how each round is getting on today, with its cleaner and a status such as Not started, Under way, Finished or Needs a cleaner. It updates as your team works.
- Keys not back: keys collected for a visit and not yet returned. It only shows while a key is out.
- Money coming in: the money expected over the next four weeks. It's hidden at first: add it from Add a card.
Rain delay (for window cleaning and gardening) and Add visit are at the top of Home too. If you invoice once a month, Home reminds you from the 1st, with a link to make last month's invoices, until they're made.
If something goes wrong
- “Some figures couldn't load. Check your connection and try again.”: refresh the page.
- “That didn’t save. Check your connection and try again.”: your new arrangement wasn't kept. Choose Done again.
- A card is missing: it may be hidden, so look under Add a card in Customise, or it needs something you can't use, such as money reports.
Who can do this
Owners and managers. Managers see money figures only with Can see money reports, tax and totals, and Today's visits only with Can plan the schedule, rounds and forms.
