Before you start
Mark done is for when the work is done but the cleaner couldn't mark it on their phone. It's on planned visits.
- On Schedule, open the visit. Under Finish visit, choose Mark done.
- Choose Who did it and the time under Finished at (today). Add a Note (optional).
- If only some of the work was done, tick Only part done and choose Why. If you set prices, enter the Price for this visit (£): only this visit changes, not the plan.
- Choose Mark done, or Mark part done.
- If the visit has a price, answer How are they paying?: Paid now (cash or card), Send a pay link or Leave it on their account.
What happens next
The visit is done, and invoicing follows your settings. If you close the visit without answering How are they paying?, the question stays on the visit until you answer it, or you can take payment from the invoice. A part-done visit priced by someone who can't set prices waits for the owner or a manager with Money: they see Set the price on the visit, and To do asks them.
To undo a visit that's done, no access or skipped, open it and choose Reopen visit, then Yes, reopen it. It goes back to planned, so you can move it or finish it again. An unpaid invoice for just this visit is voided.
If something goes wrong
- “Choose a time earlier today.”: the finish time can't be in the future.
- “Say why it was only part done.”: choose a reason under Why.
- “Enter this visit's price.”: enter the price for the part done.
- Cash taken on the phone may still sync: if it's recorded twice, you're told.
Who can do this
The owner and managers who can open Schedule. Setting a visit's price needs Can see invoices, take payments and set prices.
