Delete your account.
You can delete your harulu login yourself, at any time. It takes a minute and can't be undone.
How to delete it
In the app: tap More, then You, then Delete my account, and confirm.
On the web: sign in at app.harulu.com, open My profile, and use Delete my account at the bottom.
Own the business? Deleting your login doesn't delete the business. To close the business and delete its data, go to Settings on the web, then Close your account. If a business has more than one owner, each owner can delete their own login, as long as one owner remains.
Can't sign in? Email hello@harulu.com from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete it for you within 30 days.
What's deleted
- Your login: your email address and password, so nobody can sign in as you.
- Your name, mobile number and profile photo.
- Your settings on the app: notifications, saved places and devices you trusted.
This happens straight away. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days.
What the business keeps, and why
- Visits you did, payments you took, and photos you added. They belong to the business you worked for, and its customers rely on them.
- Your timesheets, mileage and pay records. Businesses must keep pay and tax records for HMRC, normally for at least 6 years.
These records no longer show your name: they say “Former team member”. The business keeps them for as long as its retention settings say, then they're deleted.
If you were a customer of a business, deleting your login doesn't delete the business's record of you. Ask the business to erase it, or email us and we'll pass it on. More in our privacy policy.
