Before you start
What you see: “This might be out of date”, with when the app last synced, like “Last synced yesterday at 18:40. Connect before you head out.” Or the cloud icon says Didn't send, or a number waiting.
Why: the app saves everything on your phone first and sends it when there's signal. With no signal, or after an error, work waits on the phone. Nothing is lost.
- Get signal or Wi-Fi. Check flight mode is off.
- Tap the cloud icon at the top, or Sync in Me. It shows what's waiting.
- Tap Sync now.
- If something says Didn't send, tap it to open Sync and read why, then tap Sync now. Try again is only for photos and documents that stopped sending.
- On Today, pull down to get the latest visits from the office.
- Still stuck? Close the app fully and open it again, and check the app is up to date in your phone's app store.
What happens next
The cloud icon shows All sent (a cloud with a tick), and the office sees your work.
If something goes wrong
- “Not accepted by the office”: the office turned down a change, for example because the visit went to someone else. Tell the office, then tap Got it.
- “The last sync didn't finish”: tap Sync now again when the signal is better.
- “We couldn't open your saved work”: don't sign out. Contact your office: the work is kept on this phone.
- “You can't start a new day”: your company's account is paused. Ask your manager.
- Photos are still waiting: they're tried 8 times, then wait for you to tap Try again. They stay on the phone until they've sent.
Never sign out or delete the app while work is waiting. That deletes it from the phone.
Who can do this
Everyone with the app, for the work on their own phone.
