Not a window cleaner? Where this guide says round, you'll see route. It works the same way. You can change the word in Settings, then Scheduling.
What you'll need
- Signal, to change anything
- Open the Board tab. It shows what needs you first, such as a skipped visit with Call and Rebook, then each cleaner and how far through their day they are.
- Tap a cleaner, or choose Whole day or Move a visit, to open the whole day.
- At the top, choose a person, or Everyone or Not assigned. Each shows how many visits they have and how their day is going.
- Use Earlier day and Later day to change the day. Choose Show the map to see the stops as pins.
- Tap a visit card for Give to someone else, Move to another day, Skip, Mark no access, Call, Text or Open the visit.
- After a change, Undo shows for a moment.
- Give to someone else: the visit goes to the end of their day.
- Move to another day: choose a day, then Move. It keeps its cleaner and goes last on that day.
- Skip or Mark no access: tap the reason to save it.
Add someone to today, at the bottom, adds a person who isn't working today, so you can give them visits. Their usual hours don't change.
What happens next
The Board updates by itself as your team works, and you can pull down to refresh. Changes reach the cleaner's app at its next sync. If visits weren't reached today, a banner says so; choose Review to open Decide.
If something goes wrong
- “It changed since the Board loaded, so nothing was saved. The Board now shows the latest.”: check it, and make your change again.
- “This visit has changed since. Nothing was undone.”: someone changed it after you, so their change stays.
- “Choose a new day from today on.” or “The business is closed that day. Choose another.”: pick another day.
- A warning that the cleaner is off that day, or doesn't usually work then: you can still move it, then give it to someone else.
- “Changes on the Board need a connection.”: wait for signal.
Who can do this
The owner, and managers with Can plan the schedule, rounds and forms. Visit values show only with Money, and Text needs Can message customers.
