Before you start
Month end only reads your records. For the best picture, approve shifts and mileage, and match your bank lines, as you go.
What it shows
Money, then Month end. In the first two weeks of a month it shows last month; after that, this month. It only reads your records. It never changes anything.
- Shifts and mileage waiting for you to approve.
- Finished visits that aren't on an invoice yet.
- Invoices that are overdue, with how much is owed. Unpaid invoices that aren't due yet are mentioned but don't stop the month being done.
- Lines from your bank that aren't matched to a payment. Shown only if you've added a bank account.
- Your VAT return, if you're VAT registered. It's a reminder until the due date passes, because harulu doesn't know if you've filed it.
- Pay runs that aren't done. Shown only if you've made a pay run before.
How to use it
- Choose Open on a line to go to the screen that deals with it.
- Do what's needed, then come back. The counts are live.
- When every line is clear, it says All done for the month.
Use See, at the bottom, to look at an earlier month. The counts for shifts, mileage, overdue invoices and bank lines are always as they are today.
If something goes wrong
- “The checklist couldn’t load.”: check your connection and try again.
- A count looks wrong: open the line to see the records behind it.
