Not a window cleaner? Where this guide says round, you'll see route. It works the same way. You can change the word in Settings, then Scheduling.
What you'll need
- Signal
- Open the visit from a day in The week, a person's day, the Board, or a customer's Next visit.
- To move it, choose Move visit. Pick the New day, up to 8 weeks ahead, and the Cleaner, then choose Move visit.
- To skip or cancel it, choose Skip or cancel. Choose Skip this visit or Cancel it, then a Reason, then Confirm skip or Confirm cancel. Keep visit leaves it as it is.
What happens next
Visit moved shows, with Undo to put it back. Moved visits stay where you put them when the schedule refreshes. Skipping or cancelling changes this visit only: their regular cleans carry on.
Other things on a visit
- Cleaner: choose Change, or Choose who, to give a planned visit to someone else without moving it.
- Book again: the same work as a one-off job on the day you choose, with Book job. The schedule never moves or removes it.
- Reopen visit: puts a finished visit back to planned. An unpaid invoice for just this visit is voided.
- Only part done: enter the Price for this visit · £ and choose Set price, so it can be invoiced. The plan's price doesn't change.
- Discreet: texts and emails say “your appointment”, not the service, and its photos never go on your website.
- Job report: choose Share job report to send a private link to the work done and photos. Choose Include the price if you want it, and how long the link lasts. Stop link switches it off.
If something goes wrong
- “The visit didn't move”: the reason is shown. Only planned visits move.
- “Not put back”: the visit changed since you moved it, so it stays as it is now. Open it to see the change.
- “That wasn't booked” or “The visit wasn't reopened”: the reason is shown. Try again.
- “The price wasn't saved”: check the amount and try again.
- “No signal”: this visit opens when you have signal.
Who can do this
The owner, and managers with Can plan the schedule, rounds and forms. Setting a part-done visit's price needs Money.
