Not a window cleaner? Where this guide says round, you'll see route. It works the same way. You can change the word in Settings, then Scheduling.
What you'll need
- The customer, with their property
- The service, set up in Services and prices
- On Schedule or Home, choose Add visit. On a customer's page, it's Add one-off visit.
- Choose the Customer and the Property, then the Service.
- For a service priced per unit, enter how many, such as How many windows. Check the Price (£): it starts from the customer's agreed rate, or the service's price.
- Choose the Date and, if you like, a Round. With a team, choose Who does this job?
- Add Notes for the cleaner (optional).
- Need a checklist on this job only? Under Checklists for this visit (optional), choose a form under Checklist, then Add a checklist. Remove takes it off again.
- Choose Add visit.
What happens next
The visit shows on Schedule on that day, and on the cleaner's phone at its next sync. It's a single visit: the customer's regular plan doesn't change. Its checklists show on the visit as Just this visit (see Add a checklist to one visit).
If something goes wrong
- “Enter a price in pounds.”: check the price.
- “Not assigned yet, so it won’t show in anyone’s app.”: choose who does the job.
- “We couldn't add the visit. Please try again.”: nothing was added. Try again.
- “The visit was added, but a checklist wasn’t. Add it from the visit.”: open the visit on Schedule and choose Add a checklist.
Who can do this
The owner, and managers with Can plan the schedule, rounds and forms. Only the owner and managers with Can see invoices, take payments and set prices can change the price; anyone else books it at the service's usual price.
