harulu uses only storage that is strictly necessary for the service to work, or that remembers a choice you made. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we show no cookie banner because none is needed.
What we store on your device
| Where | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Web admin and customer portal | Your sign-in session | Keeps you signed in |
| Web admin | A trusted-device token, if you choose to trust a device | Lets owners and managers skip the two-factor code on that device |
| Web admin | Whether the side menu is open or closed (a cookie) | Remembers your choice |
| Web admin and portal | A short note that the page has just reloaded after an update | Stops the page reloading in a loop |
| Customer portal | Whether you dismissed the offer to add the portal to your home screen | Remembers your choice |
| Customer portal | The property you last looked at | Remembers your choice |
| Business websites | Nothing | |
| Web admin sign-in page (advert) and portal sign-in page (the business's own offer) | Nothing. The image is served by us, and no advertiser code, pixel or tracker runs. A click on the advert opens the advertiser's site with a tag saying it came from our sign-in page, not who you are | |
| Sign-up page, if you came through a referral link | The referral code from the link, in the browser's session storage (not a cookie), which the browser clears when the tab is closed | So the referral still counts if you move between sign-up steps |
| Our marketing website (harulu.com) | Your light, dark or system colour choice, if you pick one, kept in your browser's local storage (not a cookie). Strictly necessary preference storage | Remembers your choice |
| Our marketing website (harulu.com) | [CONFIRM: any demo booking tool, once one is chosen.] |
Fonts are served from our own hosting, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts.
If we add analytics
[to supply]
[Placeholder. If analytics are added later, use only statistical analytics that measure the service in aggregate, run by a supplier acting as our processor. Describe them here with a simple, free way to object, as the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 exception for statistical purposes requires. Anything else needs consent before it is set.]
