Not a window cleaner? Where this guide says round, you'll see route. It works the same way. You can change the word in Settings, then Scheduling.
Before you start
Money in the app needs signal. Invoices are made and sent on the web. On the phone you look them up and take payments.
- Open the Money tab. Taken today and This month are at the top.
- Choose Owed for every unpaid invoice, oldest due first. Show Overdue, Due this week or All unpaid. Search by customer, address or invoice, or pick a round. Late shows what's past its due date.
- Choose Invoices for every invoice, with Unpaid, Paid or All.
- Open an invoice to see its work, photos, payments and reminders. Call or email the customer from beside their name. While it's owed, Take payment and Payment link or QR code are there too.
- See all payments lists this month's payments. Choose Today or This week, or use the arrows for earlier months.
Direct Debits
Direct Debits shows Didn't go through and Coming in, with the day each payment will be taken.
- Under Didn't go through, choose Collect again.
- Check the message and choose Collect again. The customer's bank is asked for what's still owed on the invoice.
Collect again is only there while nothing else is on its way for that invoice. If a collection keeps failing, contact the customer from their page.
What happens next
A new collection shows under Coming in until the bank confirms it. Overdue reminders go by email on the days chosen in Invoicing settings in the web admin.
If something goes wrong
- “Invoices didn't load”, “Payments didn't load” or “Direct Debits didn't load”: check your connection, then choose Try again.
- A figure shows —: it didn't load. Open the screen again.
- “It wasn't collected”: the reason is shown. See Direct Debit with GoCardless.
- “Draft: not sent yet”: issue the invoice on the web.

The owner, and managers with Can see invoices, take payments and set prices (Money).
