What you'll need
- Their name and email address
- Room on your plan for one more person
- On Team, choose Invite member.
- Enter their Name and Email, and choose the Role: Cleaner, Manager or Owner.
- For a manager, tick What they can use. A new manager starts with every tick except Can see money reports, tax and totals, and Can change business settings, payments, accounting and the plan.
- Choose Send invitation. Check who it goes to and The email they get, then choose Send. Change takes you back.
What happens next
Team says “Invitation sent to …”, and they show as Invited until they accept. They join only once they accept. Their email has a link that works once. Cleaners open it on their phone, which opens the app. Someone who already has a login accepts when they next sign in.
If something goes wrong
- “Your plan allows N people. Upgrade your plan or remove someone to add another.”: see Plan and usage.
- “That person is already in your team or invited.”: check Team for them.
- “Enter a valid email address.”: check the email.
- “Too many invitations. Try again later.”: wait a while.
- “They're invited, but what they can use wasn't saved. Set it on their team page.”: tick it on their page once they show on Team.
- “This account is read-only until a payment method is added. You can still see and download everything.”: add a payment method in Plan and usage.
Who can do this
Only the owner invites people.
